Charlie Adam insists there should not be too much doom and gloom in the Stoke camp after suffering just their second home defeat of the season.

West Ham were surprise 1-0 winners at the Britannia, which has been in fortress for Stoke in the Premier League. It was a result Hammers boss Sam Allardyce hailed as West Ham's best of the season, whilst Potters boss Tony Pulis admitted his team are currently "flat."Midfielder Adam believes that the squad and supporters should not be deflated after what has been another solid season so far.He told the club website: "We huffed and we puffed for 90 minutes, but sadly the quality or that cutting edge just wasn't there, and I suppose in the end it just wasn't our day."It's disappointing, of course it is - nobody wants to lose games. But there is a lot of positives to take from the season so far, there is no doubt about that."We have plenty of games to go and we are in a good position in the league, so let's not get too carried away."There are 30 points to play for and we will be doing everything we can to get as many of them as possible."
