 Scott Parker: Did not feel any discomfort in England's victory over Scotland Scott Parker was pleased to come through England's friendly against Norway unscathed after playing for nearly an hour in Oslo. Parker's fitness had been a topic of discussion towards the end of the Premier League season when he was struggling with an Achilles injury.However, Roy Hodgson played down those concerns on the eve of Saturday's international match and was happy enough to select the Tottenham man in midfield.Parker says he did not feel any discomfort as he helped the Three Lions step up their preparations for Euro 2012 with a 1-0 victory."Tomorrow will be the key for me but I felt really fine," he told Sky Sports News.Fresh start"I have felt fine for about the last four or five days. I have trained fully and obviously it was good to get out there. I felt OK so I was pleased."Parker was delighted to see England emerge triumphant against Norway in Hodgson's first game in charge as he knows it is always important to make a good impression on a new manager."It is a fresh start so in a way you have to prove to him that you are worthy of a place in the team," he said."It was obviously good to get out there and as a team we showed what we could do."
